There ARE a whole bunch of extended release medications, but I'm listing only the more familiar ones here:

Tramadol ER
Ultram ER
Oxycodone ER
Morphine

So these would last MUCH longer than any standard pain medication. They tell you that they last 12 hours, but they NEVER last more than about 8 hours, as I've tried them all unfortuntely.
