Hi! I just found out that I have hypertension - my blood pressure is all over the place. I noticed that it is worse and I also have skipped beats, etc. after I've taxed my brain. I have moderate TBI, so overtaxing my brain means 1 hr in any social setting, store, anything requiring concentration, etc. I noticed after the traumatic brain injury that all of my vitals have been consistently high - heart rate, blood pressure and even temperature. Are your other vitals abnormally high?

She immediately wanted me to go on meds Lisinopril-HCTZ 20-12.5 mg. I looked the meds up and there seems to be a lot of side affects of this med.
Has anyone experienced High Blood pressure AFTER TBI? Does anyone know anything about these meds?
