Default CAPD further eval.

Well I have know since 2005 I have CAPD. Yet have been finding hearing and following conversations harder. phone calls more difficult and often for years after or during a phone call I would/ will have loss of speech or an actual seizure.
So I just had a n intensive CAPD eval. The preliminary diagnosis is I have difficulty with:

Binaural integration and Binaural separation, basically where my ears are not working together as they are meant to. Which is common if one has a malformation of the brain as well as if one has lesions on the brain.

I will get a full report this next week. I am a candidate for the use of TYY phone now. So odd to me given I am not "deaf" but may be able to really help me.

I am glad to know it and yet find it hard that I have had it all my life and it is not until now I learn it, I am in my mid 40's. This is apparently a cause for many to find working in this fast paced world so hard and anxious for them. Here I thought I was lazy, not trying hard enough. What I love to do I find hard to get much work around but keep trying. Oh well.

So I thought I would share it with you all. With hopes it might help others as well

Happy Spring everyone!!
