May I ask what other lab work you have had done?
Have you had B12 measured? do you know the numbers?
Lab ranges in US are outdated and report low results as "normal" and many doctors are not aware of this. Very low B12 affects the spinal cord and nervous system and needs accurate diagnosis.

So since you are low in D, your B12 may also be out of range with the newer guidelines.

When a person gets stuck like this with a medical situation, and feels they are not being listened to or things are being ignored or not being explained fully, I think it is time to find another doctor. Request your lab and scan results and take them to another physician.
