One of the problems with US Work Comp law is the lawyers are often very restricted in the fees they can claim. This means they have to work their help/paralegals hard. They can not afford to be as responsive as a fee for service attorney or a personal injury attorney who can get bigger fees.
I could not even get an attorney to represent me with my claim. California WC law pays claimants attorneys very poorly. Very few will represent an mTBI claimant.
