Mrs. D, I have been taking Kefir (strawberry flavor) for more than 6 months now. I stopped for 2 weeks because of my lactose intolerance diagnosis. However, with the antibiotics that I am on now, I need to protect my digestive system. Although Kefir is 99% lactose free, I still take lactase before drinking it. Anyway, my concern is the sugar content. Do you have any issue on the sugar content of Kefir (i guess its 20grams per cup).
