You can try some self help exercises, gentle stretches and posture awareness.
Some or all of those may be helpful.
Heat/ice, extra fluids, belly breathing, yoga corpse pose...
Do gentle range of motion so you don't get frozen shoulder, that can take up to a year to resolve.

The TOS forum has many ideas for self help posted, as well as many video links in the useful sticky thread.
There is a sticky thread about trigger points too, and that is something you can do for yourself with finger, thumb, tennis ball or other small ball against the floor or a wall.

Also some cash based therapy may help you feel a bit better until you are covered by the new ins, often cash pay is discounted and keeps the treatment off the records.
