I'm sorry you aren't doing well. A thymectomy does not ensure remission. There is no way to know at what time after it a person with MG will actually get better; if they get better.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic but realistic, given the studies out there.

Surgery is very hard on the body and you need time to heal. Peripheral nerves are damaged by surgery and you can help heal those by taking extra sublingual methylcobalamin (B12). 5 - 20 mg per day.

Did you see my response to you in your other post?

I hope you'll just relax and try to recover. Stress certainly doesn't help. And call your neurologist for a followup appt. too!
