Stacy -- my PN fluctuates in intensity too. Just like you, I tend to "check" a lot and hope that things are getting better...but in my case the general trend is toward more numbness and loss of motor impulse.

That is not at all to say degeneration is inevitable! You may be healing. But I suspect that because nerves grow so slowly some peoples' symptoms may change on a time scale of months rather than days.

Dunno, though. Your mileage may vary...
