Frown Revision surgery Wednesday

Well I have my scs revision surgery Wednesday 83 days after original implantation thanks to that stinking fall which may not be covered by workers comp because I was not on duty at the time. I had already left work. So we may have to go personal injury. Anyway, they are moving it down a vertebrae so I won't have so many unpleasant stomach sensations (I hope) and hopefully it's just a lead change and nothing breaks or comes undone so nothing has to be retunneled or the second incision does not have to be reopened, although since it keeps switching off and on they may just to check it. My rep is terrifying me with how difficult paddle lead revision is and how horrible it's going to be. Compile that with all the demands work wants, my 9 hours of grad school, my already huge fear of dying during anesthesia(anyone remember that from the last surgery-well not my scs surgery, the one before it, laryngospasm during local/twilight almost killed me) I'm a basket case. My work is only expecting me out 2 weeks and my dr says at least a month and that's with no complications. anyway, so I'm doing my general freak out, my husband is biting both mine and the kids heads off, I'm drowning in to do lists, it's just a regular old barrel of sunshine around here. I'm so tired of it all I just want to scream. I just wanted a couple of hours alone but since I've been having double vision he won't even let me drive. Oh well.
