I think it depends on the person and his or her rsd. Personally, I've grown up in the southeast with lots of heat and humidity, so I'm more comfortable in these conditions. I hated cold weather before the rsd, so it's even worse with the rsd. I find that I have more flares when it's cold and dry. I'm not sure how much this does or doesn't have to do with my upbringing in hot, humid weather though.
