Im the new guy on the block. I usually hang out on the RSD PAGE ...because I have Rsd in its hideous form. Im from Minnesota and have a TBI too. I almost had a casket but some very fast responding people saved my life after our SUV decide to flip 4 times on the freeway after we blew a brand new tire. I actually scraped my head on the freeway after beating the side air bag out the window..Yup only me..WELL CHUCK NORRIS HAS NOTHIN ON ME!!! I also broke my neck in so many places that the neuro surgeon had to use bone marrow to glue my neck together. I also scalped a softball sized opening on my head right down to the bone..I was actually dragging my head on the freeway while our SUV was sliding on its side for about 100yards. I lost 4 pints of blood and suffered what they are calling a mild TBI. I really dont know how in this world they can catergorize just how bad a person has a TBI, but Im sick of just trying to go somewhere without having these bed spins and landing on my *****. Crying out loud I get these spins everywhere and the worst thing is I have NO idea when they are coming. I could be sitting down for supper and up face first in my Chili. And I thought having RSD was bad...Its funny because my eyes roll up and to the left and Im spinning to the left. I lose sight and space so Im totaling thrown for a loop. I was hit on the right side my head and thats the side i was dragging down the freeway. To all who come here and are suffering and living this nightmare I commend you for just surviving this horrible syndrome..You know..when you are going through these terrible life altering events Ive tended to become myopic. Life has really shown me that it can get worse.Unfortunatelty it has..Instead of doing health maintence I feel like Im doing damage control.
