I know my life isn't over, but it just feels like the beginning of the end. Anyways, this is one of the best forums I ever seen for help and response. This forum should be featured in a health magazine. The only regret I have now is that I went to the hospital four days later because I had no knowledge of TIA and I was just to out of it to call for help. If I would have got help sooner then maybe I could have had early intervention and thus, no tingling. My life feels like its over, just that quick.
There is still so much about our bodies that is not known, and new research surfaces all the time. It is not a fact that brain cells do not regenerate; it is just what has been assumed till now. There are new discoveries all the time. Here is just one:

There are many of us who visit this forum who were told by doctors that there's nothing that can be done; but we're improving, anyway. Folks like Glenntaj and Mrs. D are a great resource.

By all means, avail yourself of everything; neurology, nutrition, and everything else. But, above all, be positive, and stop whipping yourself because you did something stupid. Unless you decide that it does, the future does not equal the past. Best of luck with your healing.
