Gatorade does not replenish anything of substance except glucose.
It only has 30mg of potassium. Not enough to do much of anything.

A V8 has 800mg of potassium by contrast.

Magnesium is not in gatorade either. I'd try a magnesium supplement (200mg a day to start), and not the OXIDE form, which does not work.

You can eat foods that supply good amounts of magnesium if you choose. 3oz of almonds have 270mg, also high is beans, yogurt.
Your RDA is around 400mg elemental a day. People who work out should have good amounts of magnesium daily...it is responsible for nerve transmission, pain perception, and muscle relaxation.

You can check your food sources for vitamin, and mineral content at this source... make sure you pay attention to the serving sizes quoted:
