Hi, and welcome to Neruo Talk. Sorry you have to go through surgery, but it can turn out OK. There are many different experinces, and degrees of pain for this kind of surgery. I had C3-7. I experienced pain for about 4 weeks. The first week was rough. Try to have some prepared meals, and some help for the first couple of days at least.
