Yes CB1, I've had esoph. spasms before. I don't have them often, but very painful and uncomfortable, when a spasm session is ongoing. I don't know if it has anything to do with MS, but I wouldn't be suprised.

I too thought it was heart stuff. It usually happens at night, after I take my nitetime horse pills. They don't go down smoothly and that usually kicks it off. I may also be in an aggitated state, at the time and that just adds to the drama.

It usually Lasts a couple of hrs, then slowing goes away. Can't sleep until it passes. Always scary as hell.

Since it's not an everyday occurrance, I haven't been to the Doc about it. I hope yours can be treated and you feel better soon.
