I've had an endometrial biopsy but it was before I had crps. I had oral pain medication before the procedure and my gyn inserted some sort of anesthetic into my uterus before she started the procedure. She then waited a certain amt. of time before she took the biopsy. She explained to me that the procedure may cause cramping which it did. It wasn't that bad. But I have a high pain tolerance.

A friend of mine had the same procedure done by the same gyn and said it was the worst pain she'd ever had.

I would ask your MD if there is any other test that could be done to accomplish what the biopsy would. Endometrial biopsies are done for a variety of reasons. I'd check with my PM to make sure that if this biopsy was absolutely necessary, you would receive adequate pain medicine.
