Since I've never posted here before you will probably think I am a salesperson, which I AM NOT !i have had neuropathy for over 3 yrs. and nothing seems to give me any help. Have goen thru all the creams, which are very temporary fixes. I cannot take the drugs as they make me too loopy and since my husband has dementia I cannot have my head messed up. I have gotten some relief from some compounded drugs, but still have night pain and disturbed sleep. i had my husband at the Medical Supply place for some special shoes and saw a brochure for this and was interested. My dr. gave me a scrip for it and I have been using it for over a mth now and do have night relief and can get much needed sleep as leg pain gets under control. The problem is I cannot find out if it is covered by Medicare...have called them and got a run around, so the provider is trying to find out for me. I do hope so as it could get expensive for the electrode stocking, plus I have already paid $198 for the unti which was supposed to be refundable as it was with the TENS I got earlier. If not I'll probably pay out of pocket since it works for me, but just hate that. Does anybody else have any info re this?
