Yeah, they may be in less pain, but for how long??? (And as you note, at what cost?)
The other thing even the most ardent supporters acknowledge is that
SCS doesn't stop the progression of other aspects of the disease, e.g., sympathetic dysfunction in its myriad of forms, something that
might be addressed - if you're lucky - with a
bona fide treatment.
