When I read about the "shiny skin" I knew we must be on to something. Hoping to find more natural ways to manage, as she is very against taking meds. I can rarely get her to take Advil. I wish we'd known about the not using ice for the past 2 years!
Warm compresses, and baths help me sometimes. I use johnsons baby oatmeal lotion, and Vaseline Conditioning Petroleum Jelly Cocoa Butter***EDIT*** (this vaseline is not as greasy as plain vaseline, and its smells good)***. I alternate them. Helps with some of my skin issues on rsd areas.
I hope more people chime in with some natural help. And you daughter gets relief soon
