When you see the new doctor, get both a B12 test and Vit D test.

Doctors commonly will say "normal" on the B12 when you are actually LOW because they still use outdated lab ranges.
So bring your results here. The new treatment protocols in US are a minimum of 400, and preferably higher.

Same with Vit D... doctors test and then use an ineffective D2 product, when you should use D3 OTC. It is maddening, but true.

In Japan they had an epidemic in the 1970's of low B12 caused by a drug called Vioform (clioquinol).( Our FDA took it off the market then, so US didn't have this emergency.) Thousands of people were affected and ended up in wheelchairs, blind or dead. So Japan was the first country to be aggressive in B12 management.
