Is Dr. P with texas vascular associates -- ph#: 214-821-9600? Does he work for Baylor? Should you set up the surgery with TVA or Baylor? Does he take insurance from out of town? I live in California.

I have 4 weeks off in December -- I wonder if that is enough time to recover before I start back up with work and Nursing school. I spoke to the secretary at Dr. P's office and she said that people can do light work during their 6 weeks of PT after surgery (I am skeptical that she knows what she is talking about). Otherwise I will have to wait til next summer when I have 3
months off.

Does Dr. P allow people to talk to him on the phone or do you have to have an appointment for him to answer some of your questions?
Thanks for any info.

I am glad you're doing better Losinghope and please let us know how your appt goes -- Thanks.
