I've been taking NAC for years and recommending it to many people here for different reasons. It's an excellent antioxidant, and it helps protect the liver for anyone who takes (or needs to) Tylenol/acetaminophen/paracetamol (or meds that contain it, e.g vicodin, percocet) on a regular/longterm basis.
I've taken it on & off of late, and while I can't say I've noticed any difference in inflammation, that doesn't mean it isn't worth trying.
