NAC is a precursor to glutathione synthesis. This may be how it works, and not a function of its own traits.

NSAIDs can be hard on liver & kidneys both, and while NAC can help protect both, I wouldn't advise abusing them based on that, and I'd still have my doctor regularly monitor organ function.

What symptoms has it helped you with?
It works with all of my supplements. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Dysautonomia/POTS (Autonomic Neuropathy/Peripheral Neuro.) I like the liver protection, the fact that is raises Glutathione, influenza protection.
