Default Exciting posibilities

It looks like my surgery will involve two partial laminechtomies. That will mean I will most likely be kept overnite but also meet the criteria for going into the rehab hospital here in this city. The stay would be brief but it would take the responsibility of the post op care off of my younger daughter. She means well but can barely look at a fresh incission, let alone do wound care. Pain Man is chief of staff at this facility so I always get the VIP treatment. He would be able to run daily labs and catch the infections that I usually experience post op as they are starting. Not only that, it will be much easier to get continuing limitted nursing care when I get home. The old reliable catheter UTI often doesn't manifest until two weeks post op. Because of the chronic candida, I stay in a flare until I have been off the anti bs for a week. It would be such a blessing to have a nurse come in three days a week to monitor the incission, thrush or anything else that might crop up. I have my primary doc prepared to take any calls from my nurse and network on those kind of things.

I really needed some good news, even if there is no garuntee at this point. The last two weeks have been rough with one neighbor having a second son murdered and then my next door neighbor passing on Wednesday. Praying for safety for those in the path of this incoming storm. Even those who are inland, it would be wise to make certain you have a good supply of your meds. Hugz all around.
