Default Not so "Funny" Doctors Visit

So many, of you know I have been experiencing some major flareups this last week. I went to bed with a severe migraine finally got to sleep around midnight, then was woke up at 3:30 with severe spasms in my neck and migraine.

So this morning I decided enough was enough and after a few tears broke down and called my Primary doctor to see if I could see him and get some meds for the migraine and muscle spasms.

Of course my primary was gone, so I had to see the 20 something doctor they had to fill in. After explaining all my syptoms and all the tests I had been thru and they were suspecting TOS he responds " You know most people that think they have TOS actually have lung cancer". Seriously, are you kidding me. I think my mouth dropped to the floor. He then proceeded to ask if I had blood testing done for autoimmune, or vitamin defecencies. (Which we have already ruled that stuff out a year ago). So my response was "Honestly, not trying to get you to "figure out" what you think I have. I just need you to help me get thru the next month until I can see a doctor that actually knows what TOS is and deals with it every day. No I do not have cancer, No I do not have an autoimmune disease, and if you stopped and listened to what I have been telling you, then you might learn a thing or two."

It was so frustrating, he did give me some muscle relaxers and some migraine medicine so I guess he was good for that. I got to my car and didn't know wether to laugh or to cry.

I am just ready to go to a Dr. that has a clue about what is going on. Can't wait to see Dr. Thompson, as I am sure many of you have had these experiences with Dr's
