I thought I had DaTscan to rule out PD as I had a collection of symptoms which were mild and possibly explained by other things. Walking, balance and speech problems, cognitive, no left arm swing, stare, recent intermittent tremor. Started on Azilect ten days ago which has helped worsening speech and tremor. Still skeptical about all this as my symptoms seem to fluctuate but recently more acute in some respects. Had radiologist confirm finding to neuro but they don't grade severity or stage, just tell you whether you have PD or not. They say I have it, as does neuro.
