I had my first ivig last week, 4 infusions. After first 2 they had to use another vein as the first location got too sore, swelled but within day of removing that iv needle that vein seemed fine. The second location was in my forearm and was tender but not achiness you describe.
No Issues while infusion being done other than soreness of iv needle itself. First iv was on sided of y wrist and that was best ever in terms of minimal pain!
