When I had my CT chest with IV contrast, it felt like acid going into my poor vein! i'd had contrast years ago and never had that sensation.. so i think the inside of my poor veins are just irritated, they feel "raw".. They are trying to extend out my ivig every 2-3 weeks, so i'm going to try and do the 3 weeks as much as I can to try to give my poor veins a break!
