The adrenals do two major functions....
They are in two parts...
They make sympathomimetic amines (adrenaline) for fight & flight
And they make metabolic hormones for inflammation/sugar metabolism/
and water/electrolyte control, and some androgens.
What is it that you wish to improve?
Typically Pregnenolone and DHEA are used. But I would get a blood test first to see if these precursors are low. DHEA can stimulate sex hormone production.
