At the meal, go for veggies, no sauces, breading, ie fried. Lots of meat, or fish, again plain. A big salad, light on the dressing. Snacks, cheese, almonds, olives, pickles SF jello, raw veggies. Small amount of very dark chocolate, at least 65% cocoa. Yes, really! Beer and liquor have lots of carbs, but a glass of RED wine should help keep your bg
steady.
