Shetawk-
If you have not already done so, go back through this thread and read of your "ancestors' " experiences. If you decide to go ahead, be cautious at first. If your reaction to sinemet was to ldopa per se then it could happen again and you will be glad that you started low. As to dose, I will give you two figures. The first is the minimum that it seems to require to have an effect on me, personally. That is about one tablespoon or about seven grams. (That is rough due to the classic mass/volume problem that made Einstein look like he did. )

The other figure is that which is in the published research and is 30 grams. I find that to be too much and makes me dyskinetic.

With mucuna always keep in mind that you are using a far more complex substance than simply L-dopa. It contains dozens of compounds that act together and which are probably eliminated by most "extraction" processes. Tread carefully and add what you learn to this thread.

Currently (2011) taking 200/50 Sinemet CR 8 times a day + 10/100 Sinemet 3 times a day. Functional 90% of waking day but fragile. Failure at exercise but still trying. Constantly experimenting. Beta blocker and ACE inhibitor at present. Currently (01/2013) taking ldopa/carbadopa 200/50 CR six times a day + 10/100 form 3 times daily. Functional 90% of day. Update 04/2013: L/C 200/50 8x; Beta Blocker; ACE Inhib; Ginger; Turmeric; Creatine; Magnesium; Potassium. Doing well.
