Default Suboxone and Opiate Withdrawal.

I've been taking narcotic pain medication, Hydrocodone to be exact, for almost a month now. That mixed with my seizure medication (Keppra) has really helped keep me sane. It's been helping to improve my mood and strangely enough my cognition as well. I've had to take more than prescribed as of late due to another one of my teeth becoming infected and amplifying my head pain times ten. I ran out of Hydrocodone about 3 days ago and had a friend bring me something called Suboxone.

Suboxone is a drug they prescribe to people to help them get off heroine or opiates (narcotic pain medicine). Well, I took half a strip which made the pain go away but it gave me this uncomfortable and uncontrollable feeling of euphoria. That night, I felt tired but couldn't sleep at all, my pupils were tiny, my sex drive was off...well anyways, the next day (yesterday), I decided not to take the Suboxone and just try and make it through the day. Well, I felt great up until the time I should have taken another Suboxone (they last 24 hours). Holy crap, i've never felt so many negative feelings in my life. I was in the middle of co-hosting a presentation for Solavei and I completely froze up with a feeling of anxiety. The feeling of intense fear didn't go away all night. I also couldn't think worth of crap and didn't get any work done. Luckily, I woke up today and it was gone...but i'm super foggy and unable to communicate properly. It doesn't seem like I'll be getting much work done today.

Is this normal for coming off opiates and Suboxone? I was only on Hydrocodone for one month and took Suboxone only once.

What happened: I was randomly assaulted from behind in June of 2011. I was knocked unconscious for an unknown amount of time (less than 30 minutes) and have no memory of the event. CT scan showed contusion and hematoma of the left frontal lobe. I spent 3 days in the hospital. Diagnosed with Post-Concussion Syndrome in September 2011. Currently have Medicaid, Medicare and SSI.

Current symptoms: Brain fog, mild memory issues, problems with spontaneity, occasional spacing out, word finding difficulties, tinnitus in right ear and some other things that I can't explain.

Life after the brain injury: 4 years after the injury, I'm engaged to my beautiful girlfriend of 5 years, I'm the CEO of my own business, Notorious Labs, I've taught myself how to program complex games and apps which is a feat I never thought I'd accomplish and now live a semi-normal life with very mild PCS symptoms.

Slowly but surely regaining my life back.
