Default Curious, what's involved with a TOS sonograph?

I'm going for my first one in a couple weeks with an actual TOS doc (Dr Pearl in Dallas) and I'm just wondering, how does this work?

Are they getting an image of the actual thoracic outlet to see if there is an impingement or are they like using it on your arm to measure bloodflow? Is it looking for nerve, arterial, venous? Or all three?

Does it also catch pec minor syndrome? I'm kinda curious about that as well cause I've noticed lately the armpit has been one of my most painful locations, and I don't want to get misdiagnosed or half diagnosed.

Cheers, and thanks to this great community for helping me along my journey, I only hope I can give back as much as you guys have given to me once I get my problems sorted :P
