Mostly benfotiamine is recommended for those with PN, but also it is getting some press for others to help prevent glycation of telomeres of DNA. Some people have genetic errors of thiamine
metabolism and cannot metabolize carbs and aldehydes/alcohols properly. So benfotiamine fills that need.
