Your procedure sounds as tho it went as a text-book case! This is very very good. I know the initial pain is the pits, I mean REALLY - you've been cut into, stuck with a huge needle, body has been invaded with these strange lead wires, not to mention your original pain condition, and now you've got this wirey contraption that you've got to figure out how to work it! Your body is pi$$t

.
I know how intimidating it is coming home for the first time and having to contend with all the different types of pain you are in. Ice helps the incision pain, but some people don't like to do ice on account of the RSD.
I was SO glad to read that you felt quite a difference by day 2!
And if you're not sure if the unit is working where it should, it probably just means you need a little tweak here and there, which most people have to do - when they get the permanent.
You WILL feel better and better!!
I'll never forget my "AH HA" moment. It was day 3 and I felt good enuf to be out of bed and I was playing around with the settings as I was watching tv. That's when I realized that this thing was really gonna WORK! I was in love.
Make the best of this trial and give it a good test run!
