When I log off here I will be watching episode 12. I am enjoying it. The guy who plays the Captain is the guy from Quantum Leap (I don't remember his name). The storyline is written to where chronologically this all takes place before TNG (like in the 2100's whereas TNG was in the 2300's).
BF you are right. There is hardly anything worth watching today. We don't have cable b/c I don't want my children watching commercials - too much innuendo showing clips of sitcoms that we aren't even watching.
And I can't watch the news b/c it sends my anxiety through the roof. Even my pdoc said no news. No newspaper. If I hear or read something heinous, especially if it involved any type of abuse toward children I have a hard time getting it out of my mind. I'll think of it later that day and it will stay with me. I am amazed at people who can watch the news and hear horrible things going on in this world and then just go on with their lives. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, just that I can't do that.
That doesn't leave very much out there. I wish there were better tv programming available, too.
