Thanks for sharing this! I was on a low dose SSRI for awhile too and biggest benefit is I slept like a normal person 6-8 hours. Was afraid to stay on long term as just one more pill to manage.

You may be right on about it slowing your progression. Recent studies are beginning to show SSRIs may be neuroprotective particularly Celexa and Prozac.
