I had some periods of insomnia due to meds, mainly steriod shots. Sorry do not have much more to recommend, but, one day at my neuro's there was a college football player, huge guy, PCS.

His wife was saying that he never really slept, and had stayed awake for days like you. Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone.
