Cymbalta was recommended to me to adjunct the Lyrica by a Neurologist who specializes in TOS. For the sharp nerve pain that I was feeling from TOS/CRPS.

It takes about 2 weeks to stabilize on Cymbalta. I noticed the first week of my Cymbalta-taking an improvement in the sharp pain from TOS/CRPS. The sharp pain was lessened by taking the Cymbalta with Lyrica. I think overall Lyrica is better.

There are side effects from Cymbalta. So I take "holidays" from the Cymbalta. However, you should never take Holidays from Lyrica, you should not suddenly stop takin g Lyrica. You could try it and see if it helps you, but give yourslef 2 weeks.
