OMG, I feel the same, I don't know what to do.. I have been taking Lyrica for PHN after shingles for about two years.. I have been feeling fine. I had to change my care to the VA, since my HIV doc dischaged me for my anger (something I have been trying to get some help with). My VA doc told me that she would not rx Lyrica.. but I should wien off of it slowly.. OMG, I have been taking 250mg daily. The advice was to take one 250mg every other day for six weeks until my pills run out. I have been so sick and depressed, pain as you all have discribed. Today I took one off the recommendation and still feel bad. I want off this drug. Does anyone know if the VA is not on board with Lryica, or what advice can I get. I am so upset that a HIV doc who put me on this s>>t, can discharge a pt, and not refer or let a pt. know what to expect.
