aliciaj,

I understand your frustration. What are all the treatments you are receiving and how often do you get treatment?

Are you attending school?

Have you ever been given a chance for true quiet rest? Proper quiet rest should give you some freedom from head aches.

Concussion clinics often look at patients as a source of revenue even when their treatments are not making things better. They may try to measure your progress and notice slight improvements so they continue the treatments when discontinuing the treatments may cause better improvement.

I forget if you ever told us where you live, state or city so we can possibly direct you to somebody with a history of benefiting PCS patients.

Have you tried to get a copy of Dr Cantu's book Concussions and Our Kids? It is a worthwhile book to read, especially for your parents to read.

Are you struggling with balance and dizziness?

Cognitive rehab should be held back until you have been head ache free for some time. It can cause head aches.

Are your parents anxious about helping you or seeing you recover, too?

Are you taking any meds?

How about nutritional supplements?

We are here for you. Feel free to vent and let us know how we can help.

My best to you.
