Hey Alice!

I do not think that they have to do anything to the leads when the move the battery. I was going in to have the percutaneous leads changed out for paddle leads since they had migrated. Since they were doing that and I was having issues with the battery attached to those leads, they moved it. Since I already had leads in, they did not have to do a laminectomy or anything...the paddle leads just slid into the same place

Yeah, I had both SCS's implated at the same time. The cervical helps my hands, arms and shoulders. The thoracic helps from the hips down. I have RSD in both hands, left arm, shoulders, left leg and now both feet.
