Actually, that low immunoglobulin A--
--would more likely cause a false NEGATIVE reading on the celiac Iga anti-gliadin and IgA anti-transglutaminase panels, as there may not be enough IgA for the assay to measure.
It would seem in your case further investigation is in order--what other blood tests have you had, and did that endoscopy go into the duodenum and small intestine to look for villious atrophy?
