Default Lamictal and Cymbalta for CRPS limb pain.

I have severe post-op nerve pain in my left foot as well. The constant pain gave me intense headaches. After 2.5 years of unsuccessful treatment for sympathetic nervous system pain, I was treated with Lamotrigene (treats parasympathetic nervous system instead)(titrated to 100mg / day over two months) and now the nerve pain, which was incorrectly diagnosed by three physiatrists and correctly diagnosed as causalgia by one neourologist, has lessened my pain by 80%. Along with 60mg / day of Cymbalta, has totally negated my headache pain.

Hope this helps!

Chris

I work for a chiropractor, so I know my suboccipital area and cervical spine being out a lot can cause my head pains, but every single day I battle low-grade headaches. Most days it feels like a major headache on the verge. That's the best way I can describe it.

I just wondered if this might be a side-effect of the CRPS...like nerves causing lots of problems everywhere. Anyone know?
