SARDS is Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Syndrome. I thought you might be interested in this article that is in our student newspaper right now. This disease claims the sight of 2000-4000 dogs each year. The article is about a local dog named Bob that just one day started bumping into everything as if he couldn't see, and sure enough, he couldn't! And how a vet helped him.
