I also am going through this. I had my surgery on Sept 10. I am trying to get back to what I call a normal life, but it seems anytime I try to do anything that I start having pain problems and numbness where my hands get the red and white spots. Doing anything including minimal cleaning flairs mine up. Doctor put me on steroids, lyrica and anxiety meds which seem to be helping with the pain but not numbness. It seems like it is coming from the muscle at the base of my neck. It feels swollen there, the shoulder blade and back of armpit area. The only thing that I've been able to find that helps with the numbness is heat and the pain cold....so I sit here typing with a heating pad and ice pack! Have you found anything that works for you? Hope you get to feeling better...trying to take it slow my be frustrating but I'm hoping that I will improve as time goes on.
