So, you're going for 2 SCS's! There are a few others here who have 2 and I'm sure they'll give you some support.
I'm glad to hear that your first one is doing you good. It's amazing isn't it? Mine has brought me a quality of life that I thought I'd never get back!
I'm sorry about the stroke you had. My dad had a thalamic stroke about 15 yrs ago. NObody could figure out what happened to him. Doctors were scratching their heads. They just looked at him like cows looking at a new gate.
We find out that the thalamus is smack dab in the middle of the brain. wow!
I'm also sorry that you've been hit with this nasty CRPS.
I don't think there is anything more frustrating than this.
I'm from a small community and most people just give me that look...."oh, you poor baby. you can't handle pain"
Well, this forum sure is a lifesaver.
The people here are wonderful, caring, understanding, supportive. We're all in this together, which somehow makes things seem a lot less horrible
