This is very interesting.

Leaking of the blood brain barrier, is also a topic at PD forum quite a bit. There have been posts about this for a long time there. They often abbreviate it also, to BBB.

My first question though is why fibrinogen (which is a peptide)?
Other things too, but those were not looked at? There are alot of other peptides floating around in people. Leaking at the BBB is similar to leaky gut...and involves small pores called Zonulin channels. The Celiac community is very active about Zonulin therefore.

There are drugs in the pipeline now to close or open these channels.
At one time this venue was looked at for a possible oral insulin.
