Well, I have been subjected to two proposed methods of breakdown of such tissue.....; namely,
1. Deep tissue massage focused on the point or points of the issue, marked with an X at each end by the Doc, and
2. Deep tissue acupuncture performed by a wisened Chinese medicine practitioner from the old country just certain his method would break up unwanted scarring.

Sorry to say, there was no demonstrable evidence in my situation pointing to either as supremely helpful. I share so it may be thought through in your situation..... hoping and praying,
